Kyle R. May, Guitarist and Composer
Kyle R. May is an award winning guitarist and a composer for film, television, and video games. His music has been placed on the Art-Inspired Music Compilation Albums Volumes 1 and 2 and his piece The Dance of Death was premiered at the concert Rock Orchestra III.
Kyle has a diverse background that encompasses both popular and classical styles of music. It is the fusion of so many different genres that has led Kyle down the path of composing for visual and interactive media.
Kyle acquired a BA in Music with a focus in Classical Guitar from Hartwick College and a MFA in Film Music Composition from UNC School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His credits include short films Fortune, Title Fight, Burning Fields, and the pilot episode of web-series The Grind.
